LUSAKA – Zambia’s Dayne Moore yesterday survived a challenging second round at the SunBet Challenge to make the cut ahead of today’s final round.
Moore has a two rounds score of two under par 138 while the cut was set at one under par 139 at Woods and Mount Edgecombe Golf Course in South Africa.
He opened the tournament with a two under par 68 on the par 70 course and followed it with a par 70 in the second round.
Yesterday Moore, who started on the back nine, had a colourful card with five birdies, three bogeys and one double bogey.
Moore trails leaders Graham van der Merwe of South Africa and Australian Austin Bautista by eight shots after the duo ended the day on 10 under par 130.
